I guess we try to establish them but after all they are revealing themselves and they make us look not so clever :D
I mean we always make theories but in the end the experiments and the laboratories resaults give the answers. I guess it is a small path between these 2 roads. Only wise ppl , blessed with imagination and ability to see far away than eyes can see, are able to see these law's effects on matter or energy and understand them.
