In the small Macedonian village of Ropotovo, the tradition is for each family to paint 3 eggs that are set on the side and dedicated to God. The belief is that with this, the family will have luck in the incoming year.

One of the eggs is put in a handmade bag and hanged on the family tree, while the other two are kept at home. 

The Videski family was very surprised to find one of their eggs dedicated to God with a face of the Macedonian pop icon. "We were shocked upon glancing on the egg. I took it out of the bag, and couldn't believe it, I almost cried, because Tose showed up on the egg from our family tree, dedicated to God." says Gorica Videska.  The Videski family had phoned the Proeski family, telling them they would give them the egg after Easter, where it would be placed in Tose's memorial center.

Tose Proeski was known to be very religious, dedicated to the Macedonian Orthodox faith. He had also started building a church in his birthplace (Krusevo), that will now be completed by the Macedonian citizens.
